This settlement once belonged to the community of the village Partira, located 43 kilometers from Kastelli, at an altitude of 300 meters, following the way Arkalohori – Agia Semni – Partira – Badia.

Badia today is a small village with lots of greenery, northwest of which, on the left of the road leading to the northern exit of the village, there is a small park with pine trees,next to a small church.
