Demati
On the right bank of the river “Anapodaris” and just 54 km from Heraklion lies the settlement of Demati. The village is located at an altitude of 507 meters and offers an excellent view of the Messara valley, of the Castello, where the ancient city Priansou used to be and it also offers a view of the river Anapodaris. There are also small Byzantine churches in the area.
