Exhibition Center of Archalochori

The Exhibition Centre of Arkalohori was established in 1999 for the first time. Every two years the Cretan Agricultural Exhibition of Arkalohori is organized there and occasionally several exhibitions are organized, such as a Trade Fair, a Residence Exhibition etc. In 2007 some action was taken to expand the Exhibition Center with the addition of a new building with the same use.
The new modern Exhibition and Conference Center increase the available exhibition space by 1500 sqm. The demand for participation in the Cretan Agricultural Exhibition is particularly high and now with the new facilities and the renewal of the existing ones, more companies have been allowed to take part and present machinery, new technologies and exhibits related exclusively to farmers, beekeepers and sheep farmers. The number of participants in this nation-wide exhibition, as well as the number of visitors, have been rapidly increasing.
