Maheras
Maheras, a village at an altitude of 250 meters and 44 kilometers from Heraklion, reminds us of the Byzantine occupation of the cutler, from which its name derives.
It is a beautiful small village, in the picturesque square of which there is a giant eucalyptus tree. You will find there traditional cafes, where you can enjoy the Cretan Raki with traditional food.
