Vitsilia
A small settlement, at an altitude of 450 meters north of the village Partira, Vitsilia has not been mentioned in the census since 1981. In the village there is the old “Pirgos” (tower), as it is called by the inhabitants. It is an old Venetian building with strong walls and abutments. Today many of the old houses have been renovated because of agritourism.
In the settlement of Vitsilia a single-aisled Venetian church of the Holy Cross has been restored, in honor of which a feast is organized every year in the village, on the eve of the feast on 13 September.
