If you visit Thrapsano on Clean Monday, you will enjoy a multitude of carnival floats and people who take part in the carnival events, satirizing current affairs and highlighting the Thrapsano inhabitants’ special features. The carnival is organized by the Cultural Association of Thrapsano. A big celebration takes place in the square of the village, where visitors are offered plenty of wine and traditional meatless dishes.
