After 3 km of an uphill asphalt road on the slopes of the hills, with a wonderful view of the west, we reach Xidas, a village built on the slope below the top, where the ruins of Ancient Lyttos are found. From Xidas we continue following the asphalt road and after 4 km we arrive at Kastamonitsa, the western foothill of Mount Dikti.
